Yesterday our class 9M went back to the Waitangi treaty grounds to work on our posters. We had a choice of apps to use including Skulpt GL, Paint 3D, Tinkercad and a few more. I chose to use Skulpt GL to try and recreate a waka to include in my poster. Later around 1PM we packed up the computers and headed up to the whare where we were going to watch a kapahaka performance, the performance was around half an hour long. After the culture performance we headed down to see the wakas, most people wanted to see Ngatokimatawhaora, down by the wakas was also a big Kauri stump which was around eight hundred years old. That kauri stump had been used on a waka back in the earlier centuries.
I am a student at Bay of Islands College in Kawakawa, New Zealand. This is a place where I share my learning.
